Tuition and Fees for the 2011 - 2012 School Year

Tuition is billed on a monthly basis. Re-enrolling students and new students enrolling prior to Sept. 1 (grades 1 thru 12), are billed on a 10 month basis, August through May. Families enrolling after Sept. 1, pay on a 9 month basis for time enrolled. Full time Pastors families with children in grades 1 through 12 receive a discount of $350 per year, or $35 per month on a 10 month basis.

Curriculum expenses are added to each monthly billing. PACEs and Book Fees are billed at a level pay average per grade at-cost basis, using the previous year's actual costs to project this year's fees. Book Fees are calculated to cover the cost of periodic textbook replacement. Literature and reference books issued to the student to keep as their own will be billed additionally at-cost at the beginning of each semester. Book fines may be assessed for excessive wear or damage of textbooks. The recurring level pay monthly curriculum fee (Sept. thru May) for: grades 1 thru 12 is $15.

New students in grades 1 through 12 pay a non-refundable Registration Fee of $200 per student at the time of acceptance. A non-refundable Annual Registration Fee is due each spring to hold positions for returning students in the Fall. Early Registration begins March 1, and is $150 per returning student ($100 for 3rd or additional student enrolled from a family). Regular Registration for returning students begins March 23, and is $200 per student, and is due by April 15 to guarantee a position. Any open positions after Apr.15 will be filled with new families from the waiting list.

Registration for Preschool is $100. Cost is $190 per month for 4 half days per week, and is invoiced for one-fourth a month’s tuition for August, and then Sept through May. For more information about Preschool, ask for a Preschool packet.

Registration for Kindergarten is $120. Tuition is $190 per month for 4 half days per week, and is invoiced same as Preschool. For more information, please read the CCS Handbook. Preschool and Kindergarten are in attendance the same days as our grade school (see the CCS Schedule of Events).

Student Accident Insurance is billed Aug. 1. Our carrier requires 100% participation regardless of other insurance plans individual families may have. The annual premium for the 2011-12 school year is $6.25 for Preschool/Kindergarten students, $12.75 for students grades 1 thru 8, and $41.50 for grades 9 thru 12. Fees are waived for students enrolling after Sept. 30.

There are occasional additional costs for special activities and classes, such as class trips, art projects, special testing (annual standardized achievement testing for grades 2 thru 12 in April), special PE classes, and high school athletics. All families with students in grades K through 12 are assessed a monthly technology fee of $5 to cover the cost of RenWeb, our on-line interactive administrative management program. A family may choose to pay for their Parent Involvement Corps required hours rather than spend the time (see Handbook, page 7). Certain PE clothing items required in our Dress Requirements may add costs above what might be anticipated.

For those who choose to use an ACH bill pay system for the entire year (excluding credit/debit card payments), there would be a monthly incentive of a 3% tuition reduction. Information about our billing procedures and policies, and about our enrollment process, is available in the School Handbook.
